I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Chateau De Pourtales. The staff were exceptionally dedicated, going above and beyond to ensure my comfort. The spacious room had a lovely balcony overlooking the park, making for peaceful evenings. The surrounding grounds are lovely for leisurely strolls.

During my one-night stay, I encountered several disappointments. The air conditioning struggled to cool the room effectively, leaving me uncomfortable throughout the night. Moreover, the breakfast was extremely lacking, with limited options and low quality that did not meet my expectations, especially for a hotel of this caliber. Lastly, navigating the stairs without an elevator was a hassle and could be challenging for guests with mobility issues.

Had a super comfy room with AC, cable channels, and a nice view. Private bathroom had free toiletries, a hairdryer, and towels. The sauna and steam room in the spa area were awesome for relaxation. Free tea and coffee in a lounge were available 24/7. Beautiful walking trails nearby made it perfect for peaceful strolls.

A major downside was the breakfast, which lacked variety and quality—if you're expecting more than boiled eggs, you might be disappointed. The absence of a lift in the historical building became a hassle with luggage, making the trek to the rooms a workout. Some rooms are located in a side building, which might not have the distinctive character of the main chateau, potentially detracting from the overall ambiance many visitors seek.
